I love this plastic sports car. Ran a 1:15 when most cars were doing 55 second runs. But they weren’t looking this cool.

Wetness is linearly related to fun.

That’s awesome! To my not surprise, the wife put the kibosh on the cheap 77 I posted earlier. She hates fun...

You just got me thinking. How is it that a plastic car has a rusty front end?

Gotta say, I'm loving your posts. As a 49 year old, I've wanted a 68-72 vetted my whole life. I've been stuck with my 75 Pontiac convertible since 1989, I'm too stuck in it to change up, and you are getting me ready to give it the boot and get a 71 convertible. I miss the days I was like you. I thought nothing of gutting the interior of my 67 tempest to dye the rugs. I would pull a dash out to replace a heater core. You're a great inspiration for gear heads. Keep it up!

An 8-71 is a shit ton of boost for a small block. For all but land-speed applications, a 6-71 is a much better fit.

These early C3's are a ton of fun and good value currently. I say go for it!

It’s wipers and a horn away from full legality. Then I can register it for real!
